the final countdown…

Well, the time has come.

I finally get to go to on a nice long vacation.

It might not me my first choice of destination, (South Dakota) but I still can’t wait.

On that note, I won’t be posting often but I’ll try to keep up.

I Remember When……

You know, I really miss the times I that I’ve had in the past. I Really do.

I miss the late night car rides, the epic condiment battles, the 63 dollar CVS bills, the endless trips to the mall, the times we spent together, and the friendship we had.

But……

You Fucked me. You Fucked us. I honestly and with all my being hope you have a good life. I really do. I just hope that your life goes on without me. Without us.

Also…..

I really love the people in my life. I love that your out of my life and there in it.

To those in my life right now, I love you and hope your in it for a along time to come, and hopefully I’ll be in yours for the same amount of time.

And to those who aren’t in it, for whatever reason, I’m sorry that your out of my life. But everything happens for a reason and we’re probably better off apart.

 

And on that note, my life is wonderful right now. The friends, The boy, The Summer. All Wonderful. I just hope it continues on into the school year and for long to come.

We Burn So Bright……

So this is my first post on my newly migrated WordPress blog and i havent quite decided how I feel about it.

As for my life, its going quite well actually. Me and my boyfriend are doing great, as are my friends.

My only problem is lack of work, and frankly, it sucks. ALOT.

But I digress.

Cant wait for school or South Dakota.

Swore to shake it up……

Well I can honestly say that I’ve made good on my promise to "Shake it up" this summer. I took count of how many days i’ve actually been home, in my own bed, and it added up to a grand total of…..11.

 

So now that that’s out of the way, the past two days have been quite interesting. I texted my boyfriend two days ago and he didn’t reply at all that day. So I did the same the next day and the same result occurred. Today, I figured out that his contact in my phone was missing a digit. I’m a champ.

Offically the best burger clone recipe ever!!!

In-N-Out Double Double Burger

This is the one and only burger. Has been a consistent stalwart in
the World’s Greatest Hamburger’s Top 10 charts since our humble
inception. Now, you have the chance to make a pretty darn close version
of it.

Ingredients

1 plain hamburger bun

1/3 pound ground beef (20% fat)

dash salt

1 tablespoon Kraft thousand island dressing

1 large slice of fresh plump tomato

1 large lettuce leaf

2 slices of American cheese

1 whole onion slice (sliced very thin)

Instructions:

1. Pre-head a frying pan over medium heat

2. Lightly toast (important) both halves of the hamburger bun, face down in the pan. Set aside.

3. Separate the beef into two even portions, and form each half into a
thin patty (¼ inch thick) slightly larger than the bun.

4. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side.

5. Flip the patties over, lightly salt and immediately place two slices of cheese on each one. Cook for 2-3 minutes

6. Assemble the burger in the following stacking order from the bottom up.

beef patty with cheese

onion slice

beef patty with cheese

top bun
